Nose: Luscious citrus fruits. Palate: The initial rush of rich vanilla sweetness gives way to a touch of cinnamon which adds a spicy edge to the soft and sweet texture. The classic Arran citrus notes have rounded with age and reveal new depths of character against a background of sweet oak. Finish: Sweetness, Apple, Citrus, Cinnamon. [Unpeated]

"Though initially reticent, the aromas are lovely: rose petal, lemon peel, apricot, candle wax, and a touch of tobacco. Full-bodied in the mouth, with crème brûlée, baked apple, toasted nuts, semi-sweet chocolate, toffee, ginger, and baking spices, plus bright floral rose oil and lemon peel. The lengthy finish runs to burnt chocolate, roasted nuts, coffee grounds, and a hint of tobacco."
