Producer Tasting Note:

Strongly varietal French Merlot, deep garnet colour with vibrant plummy and blackberry fruit. Soft and supple on the palate with good intensity of fruit and a lovely juicy finish.

Winemaking: This fruit-forward, easy-drinking Merlot is made from grapes sourced from sun-drenched Languedoc vineyards, where the warm Mediterranean climate enables grape flavours to develop fully whilst retaining their deliciously characterful flavours. The grapes are vinified at lower temperatures than most reds to preserve primary fruit characters and to showcase their varietal characteristics. The wine receives twice daily remontage to extract colour and tannins. Meticulous blending produced the ultimate approachable and fruit-driven style, which was bottled early to capture vibrant red fruit.
