Briottet's Very Old Burgundy Marc Brandy is the result of distillation of brandies made from grape marc (pomace) from the prestigious Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune wine-growing areas. In order to produce a very special Burgundian marc brandy, it's aged for a minimum 5 years in oak barrels with capacities of 228 litres (Burgundy barrels). The result is extreme roundness and development of that incomparable taste of the local countryside.
It can be mixed with Dijon Crème de Cassis (Burgundian-style: 1/5 Marc 4/5 Cassis) or can be drunk on its own as a digestif, or after-dinner drink.
