Producer Tasting Note:

A very young style Chablis jam packed with fresh, green apples and hints of citrus. A firm, refreshing mineral backbone runs through the palate and on to a satisfyingly long finish. 

Critic's Tasting Note:

"From the first sniff, this Chablis presents itself directly, clearly, almost youthfully. A bouquet of crisp citrus fruits, ripe lemon, fresh zest, followed by a hint of green apple. Then that characteristic note of damp stone, which gives the wine its character and its breath. No showiness, no overpowering aroma, but a frank elegance. On the palate, the wine flows effortlessly. The attack is lively, almost vibrant, but the substance immediately rounds out the initial burst. One senses the sunny vintage without excess, a warmth tamed by a clean, mouthwatering acidity. The mid-palate then reveals nuances of peach, a hint of white flowers, and a minerality that intensifies as the wine breathes. The finish, long but not boisterous, leaves a saline impression, a taste of fine stone that draws the glass back to the glass like a perfectly chosen word. A Chablis of fine character, serious in its production, yet joyful in its expression."
