Grapes: A blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot, 113ha vineyard on sandy gravel soil, average 20 year old vines, integrated viticulture (Terra Vitis®), 28hl/ha yield, machine picked with optical sorting, 12-14 months' ageing in French oak barrels (30% new)

Chateau Beaumont is located on the left bank of the Gironde, between the communes of Margaux and Saint-Julien and is under the same ownership as classed growth, Chateau Beychevelle.

"Youthful and dense colour. Pure aromatics showing a high ripeness, crushed dark fruit, aromatic herbs like sage with tobacco and gentle toast/coffee bean. Well built, medium weight with a dense young fruitiness and a fresh backbone with ripe extract and fine length."
