The whisky is drawn from a single, first-fill Oloroso sherry hogshead cask, specifically cask number 2588. The use of a first-fill sherry cask typically imparts rich, complex flavours, contributing to a dark, robust profile with prominent notes of dried fruits, spices, and a hint of sweetness. These characteristics are complemented by the whisky's impressive strength of 61.9% ABV which provides a powerful and intense tasting experience.
