Grapes: A blend of 50% Syrah, 40% Grenache and 10% Mourvèdre with 18 months' ageing in oak foudres. 35 year old vines. Yield 40hl/ha.

To the eye, a deep and dark red. Shiny. On the nose fresh fruits with red berries and spices. The palate is full, round and racy. Rounded and smooth tannins. A full-bodied, rich and intensly aromatic wine. Full with a long finish and plenty of elegance and finesse due to the well balanced tannins and fruit.

"This excellent "Côtes du Rhône," by E. Guigal, embodies the southern spirit, that of an accessible but always distinguished wine, combining tradition and immediate pleasure. A harmonious blend of Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre, it immediately stands out for its deep ruby ​​color with garnet highlights. The initial nose, intense and captivating, reveals a bouquet of ripe black fruits—blackcurrant, blackberry, cherry—enhanced by a subtle touch of sweet spices and garrigue. Then, with aeration, more complex notes of licorice, black pepper, and cocoa appear, the signature of Rhône Syrah. On the palate, the attack is supple, ample, and caressing. The fine, well-integrated tannins structure a wine of beautiful depth, balanced between freshness and indulgence. Juicy black fruits mingle with nuances of leather and blond tobacco, before stretching into a long, warm, slightly spicy finish. A wine that seduces as much by its approachability as by its ability to age elegantly."
