Grapes: A blend of Colombard, Ugni Blanc and Chardonnay, bottle fermented (traditional method), limestone/clay soils, 9 months' ageing on yeast lees

In the glass the sparkling wine is straw yellow in colour with greenish reflections, with a fine and persistent perlage. Hints of white flowers, freshly baked bread, Golden Delicious apples and Meyer lemon are revealed on the nose. The palate is fresh, creamy, with a pleasant aromatic persistence.

François Montand's Brut sparkling wine is a Vin Mousseux de Qualité produced from white grapes in the French region of Jura, in the Franche-Comté region.

"Brut white sparkling wine made by the traditional method from a mixture of white varieties, which includes Colombard, Ugni Blanc and Chardonnay, with at least 9 months of aging with the yeasts before disgorging. It shows white fruits accompanied by floral, herbal and dried fruit notes, all balanced by delicious acidity, firm and creamy texture and a pleasant finish, with saline and citrus touches."
