A full-bodied style with rich mulberry, plum and blackcurrant flavours supported by soft tannins.
Fruit for this wine was sourced from 22 specially selected grape growing families in the Robertson Valley. The vines are grown in both lime-rich, red Karoo soils and in well-weathered shade soils.
Robertson is nestled in a valley of abundance, from the sun-drenched mountain vineyards growing select varietals to plentiful river valley vineyards heavy with fruit. But more than the land and the climate, it’s the people who’ve always been generous. In fact, many of the farms and farmers have been supplying the winery for decades.
