Producer Tasting Note:

Very intense red colour with purple reflections. On the nose, aromas of blackcurrant and dark chocolate mingle together. The palate combines richness and silky tannins. It is a fresh and mineral red wine which perfectly expresses the stony terroir from which it comes.

Food Match: To be enjoyed with beef casserole, lamb tagine with prunes, sausages with lentils, game (wild boar, partridge with chanterelle mushrooms), ratatouille, or cheeses including Saint Marcellin (unpasteurised cow's milk) and Pélardon (Cévennes goat's milk)
