Grape: 100% Malbec from 70 year old vines at 1200m above sea level. Aged for 10 months in French oak barriques.

Deep black fruits, raisins and toast. This is a very well structured wine with firm tannins and refreshing acidity. Toasty, cedar notes mingle well with bramble fruit and dark cherries. A long and complex finish.

"The nose displays scents of boysenberry, plum, violets, thyme, sage and spices. Oaky palate, rich and powerful, with a fresh finish."

"Some 700,000 bottles of this malbec were produced, one of Los Haroldos' largest productions. The grapes for this wine come from different places, all in the Uco Valley. And it is a very good picture of the wines from this Andean area, full of the floral aromas of violets typical of the variety. The texture is very fluid, the acidity is juicy, and the price is a real bargain. A clear example of how friendly and fruity malbec can be."
