A 21 year old vatted malt from Nikka. Produced using whiskies from both Miyagikyo and Yoichi distilleries. Multi award winning whisky.

Nose: Classy aromas of crème brûlée, a hint of sweet spice and delicious rich chocolate followed by some top-class oak on show. Palate: Rich and big, with a lovely combination of caramelised sugar, milk chocolate and toasty spice, along with candied orange peel. Finish: Long, the candied fruit blends well with the spice.

"Complex nose, nice aged sweetness, dried fruit, pralines, chocolate, spice, sherry wood, nuts and leather. Very nice intensity and grip on the palate, nutty and spicy with nice fruitiness and a long powerful finish."

"Scented with honey and dried apricots, this blended Japanese whisky is remarkably soft for a 21-year-old bottling, with just the evidence of oak tannins as a reminder of age. Complex flavors included mellow, rounded vanilla and caramel, peach and apricot, orange peel, plus a light cover of smoke fading to toffee and citrus on the long finish."
