Grape: 100% Tinta Fina (Tempranillo), 35 year old vines, manual harvest, 24 months' ageing in American and French oak barrels

Producer Tasting Note:

Aromatically very complex with ripe, jammy fruits, fine spices, dried fruit and nuts perfectly balanced with the oak notes from the barrel ageing. Powerful and well balanced dark cherry & strawberry flavours on the palate with the slightly fleshy feel of velvet. The tannins make themselves known, providing a pleasant and elegant complexity. It has a pleasant mouth feel and a long, intense finish.

Pinord's Marqués de Pluma is an impressive Spanish red wine that perfectly reflects what a great Reserva can be: depth, complexity, ripe fruit and a refined wood integration.

The story of Bodegas Pinord started more than 150 years ago, when the Tetas family began to make wines on their estate in Penedes. They have now extended their family expertise to Ribera del Duero, renowned for producing bespoke cult wines. Bodegas Pinord were the first winery to obtain a biodynamic wine certified in Spain by Demeter in 2007.
