Description

Remy Martin X.O. Cognac, France, 70cl

COLOUR: Fiery mahogany. AROMAS & FLAVOURS: Heady touches of white flowers such as jasmine and iris. Ripe fruits of late summer - juicy plums, ripe figs, candied oranges. Oak ageing gives notes of freshly grated cinnamon and hazelnuts.
FINISH: Velvety, rich and lingering.

Standing out for its texture, complexity and richness, with smoothness and perfect balance, Remy's X.O. "Fine Champagne" cognac is blended using 400 premier cru eaux-de-vie sourced from 85% Grande Champagne and 15% Petite Champagne. The youngest cru in this cognac has been matured for over 10 years

Critical Acclaim:

"With a deep amber hue and mellow vanilla aroma, this lush Cognac opens with cocoa powder, vanilla and dried cherry and fig. Hints of violet and clove dry to a walnut finish."

94/100 points, Kara Newman, WINE ENTHUSIAST, 2022
