Producer Tasting Note:

AROMA: Citrus fruits, chocolate, aromatic spices. PALATE: Seville oranges, dried fruits, and hints of vanilla pods. FINISH: Roasted coffee and dark chocolate.

For well over a century, The Dalmore has been made by hand, in the time-honoured way, by a small band of local still men. The process is meticulous, and includes double distillations in copper pot-stills and patient ageing in white oak and sherry wood casks. Aged in 50% Bourbon American white oak casks and 50% Oloroso Sherry casks.

"Matured in bourbon barrels and oloroso sherry casks. Tangerines, barley sugar, milky coffee, soft toffee, and sweet sherry on the inviting nose. Orange carries over to the palate, with spicy dark chocolate, ginger, and cocktail cherries. The finish features vanilla, long-lasting dark chocolate, and prunes."
