The quintessential Margaret River Chardonnay, made from a selection of Vasse Felix’s premier plots of powerful Chardonnay. Made in the modern Margaret River style of elegance, power and restraint, with the wild complexity which distinguishes Vasse Felix Chardonnay. 

Producer Tasting Note:

Pale straw cplour with a green and golden tinge. On the nose, hints of honey dew, white peach and pear are surrounded by lemon curd, bread dough and fresh straw. The complexities of limestone dust, fresh spring grass and chamomile add the typical savoury, flinty, wild component. The palate is immediately crisp, with bright acidity and a fresh plump fruit line. It has an appealing chalky mouthfeel with a wonderful dry finish. A nutmeg custard and pear perfume remains. Super structured Chardonnay

"The 2022 Chardonnay gives us a complete Chardonnay experience in the mouth. It is texturally plump, driven by fine salty acidity, saturated with powerful, concentrated fruit and shaped by gently grippy tannins. "Fleshy melon and citrus fruit are at the fore on this medium gold-hued Chard from a warm vintage in Margaret River and underpinned by chalk dust, ground ginger, and toast aromas. It's fruity, but it never feels overblown. A subtle creaminess on the palate is buoyed by tangy acidity. There's lovely intensity and a pulse of flavor to the finish. A classy wine for drinking now–2030."
