Producer Tasting Note:
The wine is deep purple in colour with bluish highlights. There is an enticing array of aromas and flavours including cherries, raspberries, and ripe plums with notes of vanilla and spice. An elegant wine offering freshness, rounded tannins and delicious fruit on the palate leading to a long finish. Fruit for this wine comes from vineyards in Luján de Cuyo & Uco Valley.
This winery is owned by ‘Familia Falasco’ who have over 40 years’ experience producing fine wines and are a top 5 leading Argentine producer located in San Martin (in the east of Mendoza).
Los Haroldos owns 3,000 hectares of vineyards in many of the prime locations, including vineyards in premier sub-region ‘La Consulta’ in the ‘Uco Valley’ which is 1,100 metres above sea level and offers a perfect micro-climate for producing fresh fruit driven wines.
