Grapes:  A blend of 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot and 18% Petit Verdot, 15-50 year old vines, organic & biodynamic production (not certified), aged 12 months in French oak (30% new barrels)

With 250 years of continuous grape production and, since 1961, home to the Sichel family, Angludet is a Cru Bourgeois chateau producing wines of Cru Classé quality at the heart of the prestigious appellation of Margaux. It is the responsibility of Benjamin Sichel, whose constant quest for quality is reflected in his policy of drastically limiting the yield of each vine plant and finding the natural balance of the entire vineyard, in order to get the best expression of this exceptional terroir in every glass. Angludet's wines enjoy a worldwide reputation for their elegance, aromatic finesse and their exceptional ageing potential.

 "Deep dark ruby, purple reflections, delicate bright rim. Fine chocolate touch, a breath of ripe cherries and figs, candied orange zests. Juicy, complex, pleasant fruit extract, silky tannins, mineral-salty, sweet fruit and nougat on the finish, good length, a multi-faceted food wine."
