Grapes: A blend of 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot & 2% Cabernet Franc, 80ha vineyard on Garonne gravel over chalk soil, 18 months' ageing in French oak (40% new)
Producer Tasting Note:
Very deep colour, clear and brilliant. An initial nose of cherry, chocolate and red roses. After swirling, confirmed aromas, with a touch of verbena freshness. A supple, ample mouth supported by dense and chalky, fine tannins. Very persistent red fruit finish.
