Grape: 100% Chenin Blanc, 3ha vineyard on schist soil, 45 year old vines, organic, manual harvest, fermented in large old oak barrels, 6 months' ageing on fine lees with weekly batonnage (stirring)

Producer Tasting Note:

This barrel fermented organic dry white, produced from old vine Chenin Blanc, has a bright, golden colour with intense floral aromas of fern, lime and elderberry. On the waxy/lanolin-textured palate, there are rich flavours of dried fruits (quince & apricot), and elderberry, plus toasty brioche & almond notes balanced by the typically fresh Loire acidity cutting through on the mouth-watering finish. Drink now to 2030.
