Grapes: A blend of organic Sauvignon Blanc (53%) and Sémillon (47%), 25 year old vines planted on sandy gravel soils, 30hl/ha yield, 50% aged for 6 months in oak barrels on the lees and 50% in steel tanks 

Producer Tasting Note:

Pale yellow colour, with great brightness. On the nose, passion fruit and pink grapefruit, paired with a minty freshness and a pleasant salivating savouriness. On the palate, we find the freshness of the ripe Sauvignon, then very quickly the evolution towards the roundness and the slightly brioche notes of the Semillon bringing a lot of flesh to this lovely and very accessible vintage of G de Château GUIRAUD. "A classy, complex nose of passion fruit, mango, lemon tart and gooseberry. Great intensity on the savoury palate with a smokey undertone. Creamy hazelnuts, yuzu zest and green fruits, seasoned with vanilla seeds, lead to a touch of spice on the finish."
