Producer Tasting Note:
Sweet white wine. Luminous gold colour. Complex aromas of fruity yellow peach, melon, Mirabelle plum, floral narcissus, peony, almond paste, cinnamon and white pepper. Over time, the aroma develops chocolate and caramel notes. The palate has a good balance between the dominate fruity flavours and floral notes, persistent finish with highly intense peppery notes, translating to plenty of freshness.
This fabulous, single vineyard Grand Cru wine has the potential to age for 10-15 years with careful cellaring.
Food Match: This is a wine of great complexity and great power. Rich and spicy dishes such as Foie gras in brioche, caramelised pork, fresh goat cheese with honey or even mint melon soup are ideal partners.
