Grape Blend: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc. 60ha of red grape vineyards on deep gravel soil, 30 year old vines, Yield 35hl/ha, manual harvest, fermentation in concrete vats with ageing in 1/3 each new, one year & 2 year old French oak barrels for 14-18 months.

Chateau Tasting Note:

Very beautiful deep garnet red colour. The nose, complex and charming, exhales roasted, toasted notes, associated with aromas of black fruits on a vanilla touch. On the palate, the attack is suave and dense, the evolution powerful and harmonious. The tasting ends with a long finish with remarkably melted tannins. A great wine to keep that will reward those who know how to wait patiently...

"Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2018 Larrivet Haut-Brion reveals a very pretty nose of kirsch, redcurrant jelly and Black Forest cake, followed by emerging cassis, aniseed, bouquet garni and tree bark notes. The medium-bodied palate is delicately played with soft-spoken red and black fruits and herbal accents, framed by firm, fine-grained tannins and loads of freshness, finishing long and lifted."
