According to the Delon family, Château Nénin is the epitome of a great Pomerol "vin de garde" (wine for laying down). It combines power and elegance, complexity and balance, purity and refinement. The gradual increase of Cabernet Franc within the vineyards gives the wine tautness, distinction and freshness. To really appreciate the Grand Vin's ageing ability, you may need to be patient. Like all great Pomerol vins de garde, Château Nénin blossoms over time.

"With a dark hue, the wine pops with its plum, chocolate, flowers, and black raspberry profile. The wine is lush, rich, ripe, and dark, with black, red, and blue fruit, coffee bean, chocolate and spice. The wine is rich, full, concentrated, and long, with a sweetness and depth of flavor in the cherry-filled finish. The wine blends 64% Merlot and 36% Cabernet Franc.14.28% ABV. Drink from 2025-2045."

"Expressive, very fruit-driven nose, a wonderful aroma; cassis, blackberries, black cherries, and the obligatory dollop of cream dominate the bouquet, with a delicate floral note. On the palate, round and approachable, you just want to swallow it – what fruit! The tannin quality surpasses anything I've tasted at Nenin before, superbly interwoven with the fruit, the alcohol perfectly integrated. Something truly great is slumbering in the barrel, and I'm certain this is the best Nenin ever produced. A masterpiece! 2028 to 2055"

"Deep garnet-purple colored, it charges out with bold expressions of blueberry pie, plum preserves, and anise, giving way to nuances of fallen leaves, mint tea, and garrigue.
