Grape: 100% Marsanne, 20-40 year old vines, stony sedimentary soils, hand harvested, natural yeast fermentation in casks, aged on lees for eight months in stainless steel 

Chapoutier's white Crozes is made from old vine Marsanne fruit sourced largely from the southern and eastern portions of the appellation. There are notes of quince, peony and then roasted almond on the nose, giving this wine a lovely rich character.

"Another beautiful white from the team, the 100% Marsanne 2021 Crozes Hermitage Les Meysonniers Blanc offers up lots of stone fruits as well as a touch of reductive minerality to go with a medium bodied pure clean elegant style on the palate. It's clearly an outstanding white and should have 5 to 7 years of longevity."
