Grape: 100% Chardonnay, hand picked, barrel fermented, aged 10 months in French oak barrels (32% new) with lees stirring, 50% completed malolactic fermentation, sustainable farming

Producer Tasting Note:

This is Domain Road’s top white, from three blocks in the Defiance vineyard on Felton Road. It is dry in style, and pale lemon with clear hues in colour.  The nose has fragrant aromas of melon, lemon curd, peach, toffee, honeysuckle and a hint of vanilla.  The succulent palate is bright with nectarine, juicy peach and sweet citrus.  A complex and concentrated wine with good minerality and a long juicy finish.

"Complex on the palate with a lovely core of fruit and oak combinations, white fleshed fruits, a touch of tropical fruit with a mineral finish…A lovely wine. Can be enjoyed now and will cellar as well."
