Grape: 100% Carmenere, alluvial & clay/loam soils, aged 4-5 months in seasoned French oak barrels 

Producer Tasting Note:

With gentle tannins, this flavoursome Carmenère combines intense aromas of raspberries and cherries with ripe red bell pepper and hints of black pepper. Smooth and velvety, it is well balanced, with the spicy, berry fruit flavours mirrored on the palate.

The grapes come from a single vineyard located in the Entre Cordilleras area of the Curicó Valley, where the vines planted are selected clones of ungrafted, pre-phylloxera French rootstock.
