Graham's 10 Year Tawny Port.

Fine, golden-orange-amber hue. A nose of baked earth, fig and spiced fruits. Good presence on the palate, firmly structured, with appealing texture and plenty of spicy flavour. A rounded earthy finish. This is youthful but very enjoyable.

"Sweet fortified red made from a blend of wines aged, on average, 10 years in oak barrels before being sold. Bottled at the end of 2022, this is another great batch of this consistent tawny, always among the best 10 years available on the market. It has great acidity and a creamy, firm texture, which brings support to all its ripe red fruits and jams and balances its sweetness. It has a captivating finish, with touches of cherries in the liqueur, sweet spices, dried fruits and citrus peels"

"Still quite a bit of red in this colour – almost more garnet than classically tawny, in fact. Smoke almonds and fig on the nose – lovely! Liquorice, milk chocolate, a touch of herbal complexity. There is so much going on here. This seems to be particularly impressive for a 10-year-old."

Pairs perfectly with creamy or fruity desserts, such as almond tart, apple pie with cinnamon, and crème brulée. Serve lightly chilled.
