Producer Tasting Note:

Blanc de Blancs is Gusbourne's signature sparkling. It’s elegant and complex, with hints of grated ginger, freshly baked croissants and toasted hazelnuts. It has a distinct, salty mineral note which leads to a long, zesty finish.

The 2020 growing season was exceptionally warm and bright in the UK, leading to a broader, more approachable fruit profile than typical cooler years. This wine undergoes a minimum of 39 months of lees ageing to build its signature brioche and hazelnut complexity.

From hand selected grapes grown on Gusbourne's own vines from the estates in Appledore, Kent and West Sussex. Vines are pruned single or double guyot depending on block. Vines are a mixture of Champagne and Burgundian clones.
