Colour: Red/Copper. Nose: Oak, sweet toffee, pepper, clove & nutmeg spices. Palate: Lots of oak and complex spice notes, cooked orchard fruits and nuts. Finish: Long, oaky and spicy.
A pot stilled whiskey made from rye grain, aged in new American oak barrels. Tuthilltown Spirits distillery opened in the Hudson Valley in 2005 and became the first whiskey distillery in the state of New York since "Prohibition" in the 1920s. Batch #5, Bottle #215.
