Producer Tasting Note:

On the nose, it develops aromas of black fruits (blueberries, blackberries) and damp stone, to which are added subtle spicy notes (vanilla, leather and liquorice) due to ageing. Dense on the palate, the wine is fruity, in continuity with the nose and offers silky tannins. "Les Terrasses de Saint-Christophe" expresses a formidable balance between freshness, roundness and elegance. Beautiful aromatic persistence on the finish. The 2022 vintage of Terrasses de Saint-Christophe is characterised by its smoothness.

This wine, using the fruit from younger vines, is the "second" label of the Grand Cru Classé property Chateau Tour Saint Christophe. Owned, since 2012, by Hong Kong billionaire, Peter Kwok, whose company, Vignobles K Group, also runs both Château Bellefont-Belcier in Saint-Émilion and Château La Patache in Pomerol. The estate is located at the eastern end of the St. Emilion plateau.
