A beautiful dark ruby colour. The nose opens up with notes of fresh red fruits (raspberries & strawberries) and spices. Pleasant to taste, this wine has a round and fruity attack before revealing its fine and silky tannins. This well balanced wine with long lasting aromas will be appreciated by knowledgeable wine-lovers and will seduce novices too.

"More savory and grounded in tone, this opens with red currant, baked cranberry, and damson skin, layered with bay leaf, dried blood orange peel, and warm marl. The palate is medium-bodied and firmly knit, with sapid fruit framed by compact tannins and a steady, quietly driving acidity. Notes of cocoa, clove, and stone dust surface through the mid-palate, leading to a dry, structured finish with a faintly earthy pull. A traditional, workmanlike Mercurey that leans into texture and structure rather than aromatic charm. Superior in quality and value"
