The Vieilles Vignes (old vine) Pouilly Fuissé is a deep gold wine that has an intense brioche aroma with hints of stone fruits and flowers, and a restraint that hints at its minerality. It has a complex palate of green apples, with hints of citrus, creamy oak notes, and a mineral austerity that builds into an impressive finish.
Estate: Domaine Corsin is a multi generation family business based in the Macon town of Davayé. They have made outstanding wines in Saint-Véran and Pouilly-Fuissé since 1864 and were among the first to label their wines as Pouilly-Fuissé and Mâcon Blanc. Today, the domaine is run by the sixth generation of the Corsin family, Jérémy, and comprises 13.6 hectares of Chardonnay, of which nine are in Saint-Véran.
