Grape: 100% Chardonnay, 0.93ha vineyard to the west of the village, vines planted in 1956, 1988 & 1989, hand picked, barrel fermented, lees aged for 12 months in large oak barrels (then 4 to 6 months in vats). No batonnage is used.

Colour: Brilliant gold with silver highlights. Nose: Very fine floral note, touch of vanilla. Palate: Dense and rich, finishing with freshness and elegance.

"Complex and inviting aroma that has both bright citrus fruit and lovely leesy richness. But even with all that there is a nice stone-dust/mineral aspect to it. Lots going on here. Deep, creamy, zesty, the texture rounding out the acidity." Drink 2027-2033
