Nikka Pure Malt White, Blended Malt Whisky, Japan, 50cl
A true style study on peat, Nikka Whisky's series of three pure malts offers blends of more or less smoky single malts with the fruity and subtle "Red", the "Black" playing on the balance with liquorice and bitter chocolate and this pure malt "White" with its very marked iodine and peaty notes coming mainly from the Yoichi distillery, but also a part of Islay whisky. This range was marketed until 2015.
Nikka Pure Malt White is produced from heavily peated malts from both of Nikka's distilleries: Yoichi and Miyagikyo.
