Producer Tasting Note:

Clear colour with golden-green highlights. Approachable and complete with forward, ripe orchard and stone fruit, depth and toasty richness from the oak, and a complex, full palate balanced with some saline freshness on the finish. Rich and textural, this is a lovely expression of St Aubin from Domaine Berthelemot's most recent vineyard acquisitions. 

The Property: Berthelemot is a young domaine, created as recently as 2006, as a result of the merging of the mature holdings of the Jean Garaudet and Yves Darviot estates. A family business, based in Meursault, and cultivating 15 hectares in the Côte de Beaune area (Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Pommard, Beaune. etc). The wines have been certified "organic" from vintage 2021.

This climat of "Murgers des Dents de Chien" is one of the most renowned in the entire village of Saint Aubin and lies above the famous Grand Cru Montrachet vineyard.
