Smokehead Sherry Bomb Islay Single Malt Whisky, Scotland
Colour: Dark, garnet-coloured amber Nose: Thick peat, then a fruitier, creamier feel – soft rich oak, custard and vanilla, marzipan, cinnamon. Taste: Oily black smoke, rich, heavy mouthcoating peaty feel. A sweet sticky flavour of roasted banana, tangy sultanas and dried fruits. Finish: Peat, liquorice, Spanish sherry cask oakiness, sweet, barbecue sauce. A last sharp, marine salty note.
