The Villa Wolf Pinot Noir Rosé is made with fruit from vineyards farmed expressly for the purpose of producing a true rosé (called Weissherbst in German). The wine is light and refreshing, with deliciously bright fruit flavours of wild strawberry and black cherry with a clean, zippy finish.

Estate: When Ernst Loosen took over his family estate, he travelled extensively to the world's most prestigious wineries in pursuit of discovering the secret to crafting truly great wines. These journeys inspired Ernst to develop his philosophy that great wines are expressions of the soil, climate and grape variety. In 1996, Ernst acquired J.L. Wolf, a traditional winery with a rich history dating back to 1756. Renaming it as Villa Wolf, Ernst set about rejuvenating the estate. Located in the northern Pfalz, within the picturesque town of Wachenheim on the edge of the Mittelhaardt, Ernst instantly recognised the Pfalz as an ideal region for producing outstanding wines, due to its favourable microclimate shielded by the Haardt and Wasgau Mountains. The renowned Forst and Wachenheim vineyard sites offer ideal conditions for achieving wines of remarkable elegance and minerality. To help realise this vision, Ernst appointed Patrick Moellendorf to lead the estate, and the result is a collection of stunning wines which truly capture the essence of this wonderful region.
