Producer Tasting Note: 

Dry, crisp and refreshing white wine from this coastal region, light yellow in appearance, with fresh citrus and orchard fruit aromas. On the palate silky and precise, showing good lift but a bit of heat in the mid-palate.  Closes clean and tight, with a bitter lemon zest note lingering and underlying minerality.

Region: Situated in the heart of the Salnés Valley, in the Galician Rías Baixas, the main vineyards of the Aquitania winery, such as Viña Iglesario, Currás, Aillos, Lourido and Montarrán, are located in nearby plots, planted on well-drained granite soils where the bedrock sometimes emerges. Centuries old vines co-exist with younger vines giving exceptional Albarino wines. Green pruning and cluster thinning is carried out prior to harvesting of the grapes. Fermentation is carried out at a controlled temperature in stainless steel vats.
