"Aromes de Pavie" is the second wine of 1er Grand Cru Classé "A" Chateau Pavie.

Producer Tasting Note:

A deep garnet-purple hue introduces a bouquet rich with earthy nuances—fertile loam, truffle, and mossy bark—interwoven with plum preserves, chocolate-covered cherries, and a hint of cinnamon. On the palate, it presents a medium to full body, vibrant acidity, and plush tannins, culminating in a spicy, invigorating finish. While approachable now, Arômes de Pavie 2017 will continue to evolve gracefully over the next 8–10 years, rewarding those with the patience to cellar.

  • "A blend of 65% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Franc and 17% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2017 Arômes de Pavie is made from the young vines of Pavie, and due to its elevation, there was no frost in the vineyard in 2017. Deep garnet-purple in color, the wine has quite an earthy nose of fertile loam, mossy tree bark and truffles over a core of plum preserves, chocolate-covered cherries and a waft of cinnamon stick.
