Canadian wine is produced mainly in the Okanagan Valley in southern British Columbia and the Niagara Peninsula in southern Ontario on the opposite side of the country. There are also many small-scale producers in southern Quebec and Nova Scotia. Icewine, the delicious Riesling or Vidal based sweet wine, is made in most regions, especially the Okanagan Valley or Ontario.
