Description

Graham`s 20 Year Old Tawny Port, Douro, Portugal, NV

Grapes: A blend of Port grape varieties, barrel aged, 123 g/L residual sugar

Producer Tasting Note:

On the nose, it shows an excellent bouquet with a characteristic ‘nutty’ character and delicious mature fruit with hints of orange peel. On the palate, it is rich, softly sweet and smooth, perfectly balanced, with a long and elegant finish. Aged for an average of 20 years in seasoned oak casks, this tawny port demonstrates the complexities afforded by careful ageing in wood.

Critics' Tasting Notes:

"Attractive dried fruit like dried persimmons and peach skins with lots of toffee and spices. It’s sweet but crunchy with dried orange and orange liquor character, with hints of saffron and turmeric. Long, spicy and floral finish. Drink or hold."

94/100 points, James Suckling, April 2023

"Transparent fox red. Headier and sweeter than the Taylor’s equivalent with distinctly treacly notes but not heavy at all. Really rather sumptuous, and, like the Graham’s 10 Year Old, it almost tastes delicate. You could sip it without food and it would probably need quite careful food paring – nothing too robust, though I could imagine in with a cheese like Chaource. "

17.5/20 points, Jancis Robinson, JancisRobinson.com, December 2025

"Pale brown gold, carmine reflections, broad ochre rim. Nuances of Aranzini, dried herbs, fine wood spice, red berry nuances, dried fruit and nougat underlaid. Round and juicy, elegant, fine tannins, chocolaty, preserved cherries, balanced cherries, mineral-salty finish, versatile."

94/100 points, FALSTAFF (Austria), April 2026

Food Match: To be enjoyed slightly chilled. Once open, enjoy within 8 weeks. Pairs extremely well with nuts, dried fruits, fruitcake, but also with soft cheeses, vanilla ice cream or crème brûlée
