Grape: 100% Riesling, 45 year old vines planted on steep slopes of red sandstone soil, hand picked, 35hl/ha yield, 3.8g/L residual sugar, unoaked

A single "Grand Cru" vineyard producing a wine having highly ripe, complex Riesling aromas with nuances of lychee, pear and ripe pineapple. Lots of body, fullness and meltingness paired with elegance and substance. A long finish. Guntrum's Hipping is stylistically similar to a dry Riesling from Alsace.
